The ground rules for using Rally, in plain language. Last updated August 2026.

What Rally is

Rally is software that helps schools, PTOs, faith communities, teams, and nonprofits plan and run fundraising campaigns — participant pages, donations, auctions, matching gifts, and the communication around them. By creating an account or giving through a Rally page, you agree to these terms.

Using Rally fairly

• Only raise money for the cause your campaign describes — be honest with your donors.
• Only upload photos, stories, and names you have the right (and the consent) to share.
• Don't use Rally to harass anyone, mislead donors, or break the law.
• Don't try to break into accounts, scrape data, or interfere with the service.

We can suspend accounts or campaigns that break these rules — protecting donors and children comes first.

What organizations are responsible for

• Collecting guardian consent before publishing anything about a child, and reviewing pages before they go live. Rally gives you the tools; your organization gives the approvals.
• The accuracy of your campaign's story, goal, and how the money is actually used.
• Your own legal obligations — charitable registration, receipting rules, and taxes vary by place. Rally provides record-keeping tools, not legal or tax advice. When in doubt, ask a qualified professional.

Donations and payments

Donations go to the organization running the campaign, not to Rally. Payment processing is handled by a dedicated provider, and processing or platform fees are shown before you give. In demo and practice environments payments are simulated — no real money moves.

Honest limits

We work hard to keep Rally reliable, but we provide it “as is” — we can't promise it will never be down or bug-free. Nothing on Rally is legal, tax, or financial advice.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell organization owners before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Rally after that means you accept the update.
